Edited : Display is good , Charge is okay actually , Last till a day with normal usage , Camera is good , low lights are quite amazing , Pro mode is good , Panorama is okay , sometimes the high lights are lost , Top-end games all smooth , phones weights good. It’s a good phone .

Initial Impressions
Overall best phone in this budget. Display is good and vivid under bright sunlight as well you will not face any issue.
Camera is great as expected in day light with many practical features though it takes a hit in low light but this can be solved with software update and GCAM is also under development so that should solve low light problem.
Video quality is just awesome did 4k 60FPS a lil and the stabilization is much better when compare with other phones with OIS.
Selfie camera mode will blow your mind with high quality image .. This is the best feature of the phone.
Performance is top par with stock UI. Nothing to complaint here but could be better with RAM management. i guess optiflex is storing many apps in memory for fast loading and hence less free ram available.
I did not had heating issue for now. Battery looks promising ..will comment after few days. The phone will feel heavy if you are used to light weight phones but i guess you will adjusted. Inhand feeling is good and doesn’t feel thick because of the ergonomics.
Wifi & cellular data 4g volte working as intended.
Sound quality is good and loud on dual speakers and best through headphone jack. Provided earphones are of high quality and they sound superb with DTS and audio wizard.
The only issue i face till now is the in call volume is low and sounds weird when you hear voice of other person. I heard this has been done intentionally for indian variant however it does not feel good and would advise ASUS india to keep it normal as it should be like other asus phones.

Coming from OnePlus 3.
Pros –
Excellent performance, great camera in daylight.
The best part for me is the almost stock UI plus some nifty features added on top.
Camera mechanism is really retro-cool.
I do miss the alert slider in the OnePlus series.
The smart button is kind of useful, although not as useful as it could have been. Should have been completely reprogrammable.
For an LCD display, it’s great, with punchy colours and deep blacks.
Battery life is great, as expected. I further disabled digital fitness and background data for most apps.
As a final note, the bundled case and earphones are really good.
Cons –
The display can never be as good as AMOLED.
The picture quality in low light definitely needs to be improved. I’m hoping a stable GCam is released soon.
Low Dev support (for now I guess). The phone does not appear to have been marketed widely. Really hoping we get good XDA support in future.

Review after using for 2 months.
Pros:
1) Snapdragon 855 makes it one of fastest phones. No lag observed till now.
2) The Camera : 48 MP Sony IMX 586 is probably the best I have seen. Picture quality is too good. Modes like Super night ( available in both cameras), portrait, panorama, time lapse, slow motion are present. HDR+ and an HDR enhanced mode makes the photos better. That Flip Camera is what differentiates it from the others by capturing 48 MP selfies. Motion tracking is another unique feature specially should intrigue bloggers.
3) Battery : The 5000 mAh battery lasts the entire day even if you are sort of a heavy user.
4) RAM management has been done pretty well.
5) Near stock experience with ZenUI 5.
6) Speakers are loud and sound quality is good. Also the headphone sound quality is good.
7) The smart key along with customisation options can make life easier.
Cons : This is not a proper con. But it would have been a little better if an Amoled screen would have been provided. Although the IPS screen is one of the best in its class.

I was waiting for this phone for long. Bought this phone on the first day of its sale. This phone is just awesome. I used it fully since I bought it. The camera is just outstanding, I have checked the quality and all the features in both day and night. The best part of the camera is it is moving, auto panorama, motion detector and WIDE angle photography. Battery backup is great. Stereo sound is really loud and awesome. Mobile is handy and comfortable to use. This phone is best and fits to its price. Best phone.

Nice phone, purchased it on 26th June and I have not faced any problem till now. I like the screen and display quality. UI is smooth and very close to stock Android which is the best and I liked the customisation they have done to the UI. Was expecting more out of the camera but may be it will get better only with software updates. Already got one OTA update. Haven’t faced any lag or sudden shut down issue yet. Battery back up is good, with moderate usage it lasts for almost 2 days for me on dual SIM, as I don’t play games on my mobile phone. The fast charger charges the device from 15 to 100 percent in around 2 hours 15 mins time. Everyone is complaining about the ear piece quality, which for me is not a huge problem and it will be fixed in future I think as ASUS has done it deliberately using software. if you keep the call volume to certain level like 70% then you won’t notice any problem but if you are in a noisy area and you increase the call volume then you will feel the difference and you won’t like it. Sound output through the stereo speakers is very good.

I am using this phone for around 3 weeks … and so far it’s just superb …
pros
1. insane camera … specially selfie camera … best u can get in the market … wide angle selfies … too good …
2. Superb battery
3. build quality … awesome … feels like a flagship
4. speaker volume … very loud … too good
5. separate sd card slot … 3.5 mm jack …. notification led … all bang on …
cons
1. screen brightness under direct sunlight …. not that good … but manageable …
2. call sound quality … yes there is an issue … but again manageable …
I just love this phone … and even after seeing cheaper option in the market with sd 855 i.e. k20 pro … i don’t regret buying this one by paying extra 4k … just because it’s insane selfie cam …. u can’t get it in any other phone …

Fourth review : I am just amazed to see durability video. See yourself before buying on youtube.
Third review: After updating device to .156…performance has been improved a lot. I have manually update to the latest one. Camera fliping is more stable now and in this update new options has been added to fine ture or calibrate fliping. Overcall call quality has been improved and sound as well. day light images have more details now but low light is still not upto the marks and need a lot refinement.
Dont know about future but right now i am loving this device and hope to get quality updates.
Second review : Camera is good but low light photos need improvement but it is far better. But it need improvement let see gow asus do on it.
I updated phone manually to .133 update and after this phone battery is increased to nearly 3 to 4hrs more or maybe more maybe due to some optimization but dont know why it is not available to download directly. I am getting around 38hrs of battery on average use from 100 to 15% which is really good.
signal reception is very good and call audio quality is also improved after .133 update.
Screen is good and does not give stress on eyes.
Zen6 UI is really thoughtful and without any leg or hangs or any unexpected errors or shutdowns…have not seen any app crashes till now but i hope asus keep the os quality on top priority.
